Action Sports

Action sports are very popular these days and there are many types. Including sports like motocross racing, surfing, water skiing, parasailing, rock climbing and the list goes on. Here is a brief history of the beginnings of some of the most popular action sports.

History of Skateboarding.

Skateboarding began in Southern California sometime in late 40 or 50 years. Southern California has some of the most popular surfing in the state that attract surfers from around the world. Even when the waves but the right of the surfers would be able to browse it somehow evolved skate, no know who built the first skate, but the idea caught on and spread like wild fire. Today there are skate parks, skate ramp, skate trick and skateboard itself has evolved to allow skaters the ability to perform tricks and maneuvers very complicated.

History of Snowboarding.

The Snowboard first called the Snurfer and was manufactured as a toy in 1966. I was basically a skateboard with wheels that should not be driving with a rope. He had no links, but allow the boots to join the board. In the 70 developed a surfer named Snowboard Winterstick based on the feel of a surfboard, but with the same function the skis. Through the years and Snowboard Snowboards have increased tremendously in popularity with the plates being designed for Snow to race and perform tricks freestyle.

History of skiing.

Skiing started as a means of travel and transportation. Sondre Norheim of Norway helped develop skiing as Recreation & Sports one. A mid to late 1800's lighter, thinner, and a new motorcycle convex rigid joint is developed, which enabled skiers to swing, jump and maneuver turns while skiing downhill.

Some types of skiing are;

Alpine skiing is what you do when you going to a ski, ride the elevator and let gravity driving down the drain.

Freestyle skiing downhill fork is where skiers use jumps or kicks to do aerial tricks.

Back Country Skiing Nordic or touring use Nordic style equipment, which allows skiers to ski up the hill in areas where there are no lifts.

Cross Country Racing is third uphill, third down and one third flat.

Skiing adaptation is carried out by persons with physical disabilities and allows adaptation to the standard ski equipment.

Recreational skiing is Military and a means of transportation for the military train, many armies to battle slopes.

Nordic ski jumping or flying is where skiers slide down a ramp to see who can fly to the last before landing on the floor.

Skiing is the most popular style and requires no special area skiing and was developed in Scandinavia as a means of transportation in winter.

Telemark use flexible ski boots are not blocked heels on skis that allow the skier to travel at higher speeds.

History of Cycling.

Cycling has grown in popularity in recent years and throughout the world. In some countries it is a means of transport through narrow streets that allow cars to travel or countries where cars are too expensive. Cycling as a sport has grown in popularity around the world as well and used bikes that are specially designed for the terrain and speed.
