Most people usually use computers for relaxation purposes. This is made possible by several features that computers have. Some of them are multimedia centers which can play music and movies, the internet, games among others. Playing games is the most common form of relaxation especially among the youth and young adults. They come in many types and motocross games are one of the most popular.

They are racing games which involve controlling motorbikes so as to maneuver through different racing tracks perfectly to emerge the winner. When playing one is normally awarded with points depending on how they play, what time the take to complete the races and what position the emerge at the end of the race. These points are used to determine your rank in the game.

They come in several forms. They can either be flash, console or basic computer games. The flash types are normally played online. One uses a web browser to do so when connected to the internet. The good thing about them is that you do not have to install client software to play. Consoles are the other type. They usually need interactive console platforms to run; therefore one has to install the consoles first before playing them. The basic computer games are the ones that normally require client-side software to play.

There are several types of motocross games. The first, most common type is enduro. This type involves riding the motor bikes in dirt obstacles courses where one has to maneuver through things like steep mounds and hay stacks. The game has different goals. One can either finish first in the pack or complete the course in the fastest time possible. It is normally up to the player to decide on this.

Another type is the enduro. In this race one is expected to maneuver through an obstacle course and survive until the end of the race. You can either race with other player and try to emerge first or play alone with the aim of setting a record lap time. Trial motocross is also similar to enduro, only this time there are no obstacles and the goal is to set a record lap time.

The freestyle is also another popular type. It is normally referred to as FMX and involves performing tricks with the bike. This type of game is normally played in specially designed arenas. The player is awarded points for how he or she takes off, for the tricks performed and how they land. Some of the tricks one can perform include the 360, front flips and under flips. Super cross is another type that combines both the hill climbs and enduro. The player normally chooses his or her bike from a list of well-tuned high performance bikes that are designed to perform perfect jumps and at the same time take sharp corners.

Then we have the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) motocross and sidecarcross. These games involve the use of special bikes. In ATV you use four wheel bikes that are fitted with frames and have tires suitable for dirt racing. The sidecarcross normally involves the use bikes that have a side car attached to them. The side car carries a passenger whose purpose is to provide counterweight on the bike during the race.

The experience is always the same no matter which motocross game you play. This is because all the games offer the player with an interactive and interesting pastime activity that helps them relax during breaks when working. This makes them the perfect pass-time activity.
