BMW Motorcycles ….. Do not know what's his name?

BMW has produced a bike some time ago that it had a roof protects the driver against the elements. I read that when they came out it was the law to wear a safety helmet. But the other day saw someone driving this bike, but was not wearing a helmet. What the bike called? And also has the law changed regarding the helmet law? Thank you British law. Thank you

C1, someone else has said. Not know about the law in the U.S., but here in France, they have more than the government allow it to be mounted without a helmet, by inserting "circuit breaker" that prevents it from being started if the safety belt is not fastened.
